Hey guys,
I haven't written any longer texts in english for quite a while, but I chose this Forum over german forums just because I found more helpful and interesting threads here... and I hope that you might give me some useful advises.
Coming to my Problem:
Well, my 2 year old L. Lugubris just laid it's second pair of eggs, (the first pair were eaten pretty soon after being laid) and 2 weeks ago one young gecko hatched. After putting "her" into a seperated terrarium, I watched him eat a couple froot flyes. Now I started supplying her with several other kinds of food like baby food, banana, crushed eggs for Calzium and actually he is licking some banana but started ignoring any froot flyes for couple days. Yesterday I bought him some micro crickets and gave them to him, but he doesn't seem to show any interest and I am wondering if anything isn't good since his actualy terarium has the size 30 x 30 x 50, has loads of hiding places (although he isn't using them and lays on a piece of wood, corc or the hygrometer) The humidity is at days aroung 60 to 75% and goes up to 90 / 95% at night. The warmest place is aroung 31°C and the coolest round about 20°C.
So, compared to her mother, he seems awkward in her behavior since her mother ate like everything when she was young and hide all day long.
On my websearches I couldn't find any hints about the behavior she is showing especially about the behavior my small hatchling is showing.
I would appreciate help if you have any clue if he is alright or not, since it is my first hatchling and I really don't want to lose him.
thanks a lot
