I bought a female leopard gecko five weeks ago at a reptile expo. I bought her because I wanted to breed her with my male. The guy I bought her from said that she had been living with a male for about four months and was with him until the morning I bought her. He said that she could already be gravid, but that he wasn't sure. She looks a little larger in the belly than the average gecko, but when I checked, I didn't see any evidence of eggs. I've been watching her for eggs and I still can't tell if she's gravid or not. She's stopped eating as of five days ago, and I know that that can be a sign that she might lay soon. She also just shed her skin. I've had an egg box in there with her for the past week and she hasn't utilized it yet. I'm still on the fence about whether she's gravid or not. Sometimes it looks like eggs might be developing, and sometimes it doesn't. Does she look gravid?
If she's not gravid then I want to put her with my male, but I want to be absolutely sure that she's not before I do.
I asked this question on another site but I want a second opinion just to make sure.
