Echo's morph?

This is fascinating watching her change so much!

Also, any idea how old she is? I got her at petco 6 weeks ago, she was tiny.

The first photo is when I got her, the subsequent photos are after each shed. The last photo is sometime last week, thursday maybe?

Pretty sure she's a tangerine, but aren't those less spotty? And she seems to have a carrot tail as well.

She's an aberrant hypo tangerine.

Aberrant- unusual broken torso pattern.
Hypo- reduced spotting.
Tangerine- orange coloring.

To answer your questions:
Tangerines are just a color. Most tangerines have reduced spotting, but those are more than tangerines, those with no spots are often accompanied with the title Hypo Tangerine or Super Hypo Tangerine.
Your little one isn't a carrot tail. Carrot tail is 30% of the tail as solid orange (no spots).

Oh, awesome, I was hoping she was a tangerine (I didn't care if she wasn't), they're just beautiful to me. So the carrot tail isn't something that develops over time? Just thought since the orange on her tail was darker, she was a carrot tail. But yeah, I don't know gecko genetics :).

The white on her tail doesn't go all the way around, does this make her a jungle?

Chinchillas are so much easier, they're born the exact color they will always be. But this is so much fun seeing her change so much.

The orange gets bigger over time, but due to her current size (and color change in the photos), I don't think she'll develop 30% solid orange banding on her tail. If she does then yes, it'd be a carrot tail. Her tail has distinct banding, so she's not a jungle. Jungle's tails are very obviously curvy and not bands.

You know, I did tons of surfing looking for a description on how to distinguish different leo morphs and couldn't find a damn thing. Lots of pictures of leos that all looked the same to me and genus descriptions that again mean nothing to me. You've explained more in two posts that I've gotten anywhere else.

I'm more than happy to answer questions in detail regarding morph descriptions.

Ok, I looked at some jungles and I see what you mean.

Thank you for all your help! I really appreciate it. It's hard to look this stuff up because they look different at every life stage.

Will she keep her spots? Or will they fade like the stripes?

She should keep most of them, but every gecko and morph is different. :) I've had some develop spots that later faded.
