hello to everyone. I am a long time gecko lover but never owned one until recently, it's a sad story and i'm sure it will come out later. I live in Alaska and have owned several small lizards over the years, anoles, skinks and the like. But i have a male tokay gecko coming on Tuesday from Homegrown Scales that i am very excited about. So and tips or thoughts for the newbie from other owners would be great. And i'm looking forward to talking geckos :D

Hi melissa!
Nice to see you here. It's Morgan btw. What I generally tell folks is to leave the guy alone for two weeks solid except for daily maintenance. Make sure husbandry is solid, and let them get accustomed for a couple days. Then try a feed with a few prey items at first if he eats awesome. Which I don't think you'll have any issues.  Give him as much as he'd like. Make sure he's got a ton of wall and canopy coverage and plenty of things to hide behind and your golden. They are very simple. And getting a Cbb guy you will have very little issue. He's definately a healthy little boy, and I'm sure you'll enjoy him. But if you ever have any questions you are welcome to Give a shout. K I'll let other folks chime in!
I expect to see lots and lots of growing pics too!!

Hey Morgan :D. Thanks for all your help over the last week or so. I am so excited to see my boy, the hard part will be leaving him alone for the 2 weeks but I will do it for his sake. And yes lots of pictures I'm sure.
