Meds and leopards

Just curious to hear some opinions on what people think about giving your lizards meds for parasites as a preventative. One of my girls recently has become bloated and tail is getting skinny. She is has not ovulated and lives on tile. So egg binding and impactions should be unlikely. I will be taking her in tuesday for her vet appointment. Anyways that brings me back to my original question:

Is there harm in treating your entire group of animals (with the correct amounts) as a preventative? I dont like to have to react to issues if I could have prevented them to begin with. Opinions welcome and thanks guys

I have never done it as a preventive thing, but I have a good friend who is a very serious python breeder and he does it as a steady practice!

I do it once a year. If I'm feeding crickets regularly I do it every 6 months. Usually by 4-5 months of feeding crickets someone has parasites. I don't treat unless I have to, the "once a year" is because I have a parasite issue around once a year. Since I stopped feeding crickets I haven't needed to treat anyone.

I don't feel it'll hurt to treat them just in case, as long as it's not a regular thing. Medication isn't natural, and it's hard on their bodies. Whenever I do a panacur treatment I make sure to give them acidophillus.

Any suggestions for what I might want to use for a one time treatment?

I'm not a vet, and can't give medical advice like that. I personally use panacur, but it takes more than one treatment (usually once a week for 5 or so weeks).
