Hello Everyone!
I'm a long-time lurker and thought it was about time I posted on this wonderful website! I just got my first pair of Uroplatus phantasticus last Friday. I drove 13 hours round trip so they wouldn't have to go through the stress of shipping. I've kept Uroplatus ebenaui for a little while now and immediately got hooked on this genus! I will attach a few photos! The second night I had them in my care the male had still not moved from the branch I put him on. I was a bit concerned but as soon as I put crickets in the enclosure he came to life! He ate five crickets right in front of me, even with the lights on! Here is a short video clip: YouTube - Uroplatus phantasticus eating baby crickets .
Best wishes,
Mike
