I have been on this site for a few days but I just figured out how to make a new thread. I am into crested geckos and own six. I also have three clutches of crestie eggs in the incubator. I want two more females and possibly another male.

I might aswell introduce myself here too. I'm from New Zealand, and am currently in the process of getting a permit to keep native geckos.

A hearty welcome to you, Rosenkruz!

I love the fact that you are getting a permit to keep your native NZ geckos. You have some mighty fine geckos in New Zealand. They make me drool

I love the picture next to your name! Is it the one from the reptile expo some years ago? A flying gecko laying an egg on someones wrist band? Someone showed me the same picture at the portland metro reptile expo this month in wilsonville.

Thank you so much! Yes, that photo of flyer Sara (my GU avatar) was taken at the Captive Breeders' Expo in Puyallup, Washington in October 2004 when Sara was just 16 months old. The photo made the English edition of Reptilia about 6 months later. That could have been me at the Global Gecko Association & Friends booth at the Wilsonville Reptile Expo on the 13 Aug 2011! My friend Melody was even there and it was on her watchband/wrist that Sara laid that October! In fact the gecko herself (Sara) who is now 8 years old was at this Wilsonville Show too as a display gecko.

At the time of the photo I lived in Seattle. Now I live near Portland, Oregon.
