Dead Fimbriatus

Hi, this morning i found m'y 1.0 Fimbriatus dead in the bottom... I got his since last novembre... Yesterday hé was fine(eat and drink) and soundainly hé s died. Did You have ever see this ? Thanks ps hé was adult maybe hé was to hold....

I am sorry for your loss :(. Was he wild caught or captive bred? Have you any idea how old he was?

Do you have other Uros?

Perhaps some Uro experts will chime in soon. I have never kept Uros.

There's not really much to go on with the given information. More might help, but then again I also think that reptiles must just die of weird natural causes sometimes just like we humans do. Not every death will have an identifiable cause, and if you never find out what it was you won't be the first uro keeper to experience that frustration.

Very sorry to hear you lost him. That stinks.

Sorry for your loss! It's pretty hard to tell with WC since there is no way to know how old he was or if he had an previous medical conditions.
