There is 4 types of snows
There is Mack Snows... First Produced at John Mack's facility he is one of the largest breeders of leos for the Wholesale pet trade.
Mack Snows are a co dom. what this means is that you breed a Mack snow to any thing you will have a 50% chance of any of the babies to be a Mack Snow.
if you breed two Mack Snows together you will get 25% normal, 50% Mack Snow, and 25% Mack Super Snow.
a super snow has a unique look to them and they have solid black eyes. if you look online for a Super snow i'm sure you can find pictures.
If you breed a super snow to any thing you will get 100% snow babies.
Gem Snow and Tug Snow
both of these guys act the same so i will classify them the same way.
The Gem snow were originally created by Jim Holler from reptilian gems.
Tug snows are from The Urban Gecko in Canada.
both of them act like the mack snow in that you breed eather one of the tug snow or the gem snow to anything you have a 50 % chance of getting a snow. So they are a dominant gene. The weird thing is that TUG X TUG or GEM X GEM dose not give you a Super form. but if you breed Mack X TUG or GEM X Mack you will get The Super form. So the TUG and GEM snows act Different then the Mack Snow
GEM and TUG Snows do have a different "look" to them. TUG and GEM Snows Might actually be the same thing.
Line Bred Snows are a thing all on there own. they are as the title says line bred to have no color to them. they are kinda the opposite to a tangerine. Albey from Albeys to cool reptiles is the one that has done the most work with them and has the best ones in the world IMO
That is the 4 that most people know of. I work with Mack, Gem, and TUG snows. I am testing out what I said above about the Gem and TUG just to know for me that that is the way they work.
There is one more that no one really knows about yet. That i am working on proving out what is going on and how it works. I have a groupe of pure Montanus that I am working with that when they are crossed out to "morphs" babies hatch out that kinda look like baby snows and as they grow they almost have a ghostly appearance to them. time will tell about what goes on with them.
But as of right now the 4 that i talked about above are the ones you should know and how they work.
Hope that helps.
