i know that if you dont want to feed your geckos crickets, you can always do the small ****roaches, small snails, or certain worms in a dish. But ive tried all those and neither my sikorea or phant touch them. they ignore the worms. seem to never see the snails and cant find the roaches. does anyone have any suggestions?
i tried looking over the threads and couldnt find anything really

I used to use crickets back in the day...but i almost never use them anymore because they smell, they are nasty/disgusting...and I hate it when they get out.
Blatta lateralis would probably be the best...I feed the dubia to the larger geckos. Dubia are not that active in the feed bowls, but all of my geckos take they instantly from forceps.
I hand feed my sikorae/henkeli/sameiti dubia roaches.

In regards to U.phantasticus, Crickets seem to trigger the best feeding response for me....they pay little to no attention to anything else.

I use feeding dishes for all my dubia, and have started to use dog food bowls for one of my fimb tanks. It works really well, though it does look a bit tacky. Full grown males can't even climb out.

But you're exactly right Scott, not just for Phants but for any geckos I own the crickets elicit the best feeding response.

I have tried roaches. My phants will eat them but my sikorae will not. The crickets get the most feeding response like someone stated earlier. I have tried the roaches, mealworms, and superworms and nothing.
