Is this normal for a 4 month Leo?

It's been a while since I posted anything, thought I would share. This is Samson, I picked him up at two months old, about 7" long and 32 grams. Now at four months, 9+" and 62 grams. It will be interesting to watch him grow! Thanks for looking!

Looks as if you've got a subadult giant Patrick! Know anything about his parents?

He is working on being a Super Giant. He was produced by Ray @ Designer Geckos. His father is "Moosie" one of Ray's Hot Moose Super Giants and a Super Giant female. I have bought from Ray before, which is why I jumped so early on this guy, with no issues, his geckos are what he says they are! With the growth rate of this guy I have no doubt he will be a monster! His tang is already starting to fill in nicely so he should be quite the handsome fella too! Anyway, that's what I know for now! Thanks for looking.

Believe me, at that age my other Leo Edward was 3 inches bigger lol and we got him at the age of around 2 months I would assume from petsmart. Some just grow like weeds, it is crazy lol But now he is the same length and around 80 grams just off of crickets he is my girlfriends pride and joy lol

3" bigger??!!??!! The biggest on record is 11 7/8"!!

Haha....I know what you mean! 80 grams is still a nice big gecko! Does he dwarf your others! I have several giants / super giants and it is very amusing to watch the different growth rates! Best of luck

oh yes big time lol the 5 others are way smaller than him. My girl Jeffery is probably second biggest but she is around 7 inches and only 40 grams I would say. Eats like a machine though lol our best eater
