Petco leopard gecko help

I've been spending $40+ on my baby leopard geckos at my local (and trusted) pet store. And today in pursuit of a good deal on a new 20 gal. tank my mom came across baby leopard geckos for unpassable deal of $15. But as stated in my title.... it's at petco. IF THIS GECKO IS DISFIGURED OR SICK WHAT ARE THE SIGNS. I have not seen the gecko in person but i want to be prepared to take good care of it! Thanks

Just see if the gecko seems to be very lethargic and ask if you can hold it. If it just basically vegetates in your hand something is probably wrong. If it seem alert and interested then id say you would be safe in buying it. You always wanna take it and a stool sample to the vet to see if it has any type of parasites.

it is possible to get good healthy gecko from a pet store both my leos came from petsmart and they are completely healthy

Good for your mom in visiting Petco for its excellent deal on tanks. Heard that Petco's sale goes until January 19th. How many 20 gallon LONGS did she buy ;-)?

Remember that any new gecko which comes into your home should be quarantined away from your other leos for a minimum of 60 days. This requires another complete setup.

As well, it is really advisable to house leos separately. A 20 gallon LONG tank is best for just one leo for life.

For me three leos would be enough
