general Leo question?

Do female leopard geckos produce eggs without mating? I've seen a couple post that suggest they do, just trying to confirm :) thanks!

Sometimes they do, but it's not the usual thing. I've never had one that did, though my day geckos and bearded dragon have.

This is actually the case with most reptiles. The females have the ability to lay, but whether the instinct kicks in for them that actually causes them to lay is dependent on the individual reptile.

In most cases, they'll simply re-absorb the eggs before they calcify.
