My guys used the cable slots as one of their hides, they never had issues getting out. I flipped the styro over and put the notches at top.

Are there other hiding places and plenty of cover? Silk branches can be purchased at $ stores. My male likes to hide in bamboo.

Sanseveria/snake plants are tough enough to withstand bouncy cresties and assist with ambient humidity.

Yes there are plenty, she rarely goes behind the foam and never has a problem getting out.

Yes, it happens a lot with these backgrounds. I use sphagnum moss to block all accesses so that won't happen ;)

You can also wet paper towel (maybe even mix a little Elmer's glue in) and stuff the openings. Then when it dries you have kind of a paper mache effect.

If this is an issue just buy the cork bark board that fits and screw pieces of wood or cork rounds to it to make a 3D back ground. I plan on trying that in a few weeks when it warms up and im not getting pounded by a blizzard and maybe 2-3ft of snow.
