018.jpgHi everyone! These are pics of my 3 leos-- two 9 month females and a new baby. Hope you like the pics!! <3
The first 2 are pictures of my high yellow, Blizzy-- my first leo ever. The third one is all of them together. The fourth is my Tangerine, Sherbert, and the last is the new baby. I don't know the morph or sex so I don't have a name for him.

JUST SO YOU KNOW, Maggot made the easy mistake of seeing that enclosure as their home. THEIR HOME IS 30 GALLON.
They are females, too.

1) Please keep everything in one thread. You've got 4-5 threads going right now, and it's unnecessary.
2) They ALL need to be separated. Whatever size that enclosure is, it's too small for even two leos, let alone three. Hell, looks like it's too small for even one. Again, your male should not be with either of those other much larger geckos. Furthermore, if your male came in with any diseases or parasites, you could be infected your other geckos.

I don't have a male. They are all females and the tank is 30 gallon.

Sorry about all the threads. My computer is "messing up". And their actul home is 30 gallon. I took the pic in a container so that they would be easier to take a photo of. And I don't have any males, just so you know.

Okay, then your 3 month old of unknown gender should not be housed with those other two.

1) The huge age and size disparity could easily result in dominance/bullying, which could get very serious and lead to lack of food, injuries, or even death of your little one.

2) All new geckos should be kept away from all other geckos for a minimum of 60 days. If you were unlucky enough to buy a leo with something like crypto and then put it right in with the others, it could kill all of them. The sooner you separate them, the better chance you have of them not catching anything your new gecko might have.

3) 30 gallons isn't big enough for three leos. Two? Sure. But three shouldn't be in less than a 40 gallon. (Rule of thumb is 20 long for one leo and 10 gallons added per leo. So a 20 long for one leo, a 30 gallon for 2 leos, a 40 gallon for 3 leos, etc.)

Thanks for that tip. But as you know, I am 10. I don't have MONEY to buy a tank, but until I do, what should I do?

There's nothing you can do until you get another tank. Look at garage sales, Craigslist, eBay classifieds, etc. Borrow money from a family member or friends or sell a few things. If you've already paid to buy the geckos, supplements, thermometers, hides, and substrate as well as paying for heating the enclosure, a few more bucks for a tank isn't that much.

Thanks! I'll try. What you said just hit me. Every leo owner I've heard of has said that 3 is fine but yes, it is the max total. That'sn what the pet shops and my leo/crested/skink/JUST A REPTILE owner has said, also...

I do have another 10 gallon, but it has been sitting out with mud and dirt outdoors for at least a year... I wouldn't take that risk. There is a high risk of illnesses in it... And, I don't have an extra heating source...

In Maggot's defense...you were referring to your new gecko as "he" in you're other thread. Plus if the gecko is 3 months old it is possible it is still too soon to tell.

Please share some things. We are trying to help you and your leos have the best experience possible. That's why I suggested on one of your other threads to consider returning the 3 month old leo you just bought.

Bear with our questions. Please measure your 30 gallon tank and share the measurements on one of your threads, maybe here? length x width x height (inches).

How are you heating your 30 gallon?

What kind of animal had been housed in that muddy 10 gallon? What happened to that animal?

Have you had the chance to click on the Leo Caresheet linked in my signature?
