The posters above are just recommending what's best for your leos. (Have not caught up with the older female's current problems.)
You say you can't afford another tank.
What are the measurements of your 30 gallon tank? I just want to confirm the size of it. Surely you might have a tape measure, yardsticks, or other measuring devices.
Once again I suggest having your parents read some of these threads and my leo caresheet to help you out.
Our advice is to strongly considering returning the ~4 month old leo you just bought. If you phone the pet store, they will tell you how much time you have to do that. Many pet stores have a policy where returns are possible within 14 days. (Wish you found the website sooner.)
Well cared for leopard geckos can live from 15 to 20 years and longer.
