Nose Issue

My leo (2 1/2 months old) was chasing a mealworm when he suffered an injury. The Mealworm went under his basking spot rock right as he was striking, and he hit his nose on the rock. His nose ended up bleeding which I cleaned as quickly as possible with a moist papertowel. the bleeding has stopped, but there is a noticeable scar. Any suggestions? he seems fine.

May I ask why no ointments at all? I've always heard to use them (not too much, though).

The caution about ointments like neosporin or whatever is that leos (geckos) lick just about wherever . Ingesting ointments is not a good thing.

I would just let it be unless you don't see any noticeable healing. If not I would take him to a veterinarian before trying put ointments on.
