Gecko Hissing....

I accidentally made my Leopard Gecko hiss at my twice already, and I've only had it for 24 hours. I feel like he's going to hate me!

Im going to wait 5 days now before I try to bother him...

Any tips for making him let me touch him or should I just wait till he's less stressed? I was going to go 3 days before I tried to handle him but my friends came over and were being really annoying.

Because he is new, you should try to give him more time to adjust to his new habitat and just settle in.

I waited almost 2 weeks before I started trying to do anything with mine. After that, I put my hand in his tank for a little bit every night, and now he is more use to me. Still a little jumpy before I get him, but once I do its smooth sailing.

Also, Elizabeth is right. Try to keep it all in one thread friend, I've had an active thread on here since I got my leo like 2 months ago ;p
