Took a few pictures a bit ago of Fatty exploring and enjoying her new large tank and brand new setup. Liked a few and found one rather amusing.

I love your set up. I like the branches and the succulents, are they live??? I am going to do a bit more decorations for Izzy, but after setting up two full tanks in 2 weeks, I need to see if I can recoup some of the 10 gal fiasco on craigslist first!

Actually it's all fake! I got them at michaels craft store in a bundle and just popped them off the stem.

It's so much more simple! I see in another post you said you live in the Bay Area, so do I!! I'm not sure exactly where you live but I could recommend a place that I love to go for my reptile needs. Also where I got most of my natural decor.

That is one cute gecko!! Sorry to intrude but have you considered cutting back on the feedings a little bit?? IMHO she is a bit on the overweight side, and she has armpit bubbles indicating she gets too much vitamins, I bet she is healthy but if you want her to live as long as she can I would humbly advice to make loose a few grames :) just like in any other animal, obesity is not healthy and with time can lead to health issues

Yes saskia, I had a thread about it awhile back. I guess you just haven't seen it. Long story short, when I was a newbie owner I gave her wax worms because I didn't know how unhealthy they were. Then I found out they were bad and she hasn't got them since. They made her fat but she only gets fed crickets or the occasional mealworm every other day or every third day. She is losing weight slowly and I just got her a 40 gallon tank so she'll have more room to exercise. She's on her way...

I didn´t read about that, but great to read so!! It is always better to loose weight slowly, healthier, kuddos on being such a responsible owner, I bet she´ll live many years
