Just a bit confused on supplementation. I've read pure calcium in cage..got that covered. Then for insect dusting calcium plus d3, but do you also need a separate reptile vitamin for dusting as well Or does the cacium with d3 cover that?

Many leopard gecko keepers no longer keep plain calcium carbonate in the tank ever these days. Calcium taken without food can do more harm than good.

Some people on GU like Repashy's Calcium Plus for vitamins and D3.

I like Zoo Med's Repti-Calcium with D3 and Zoo Med's Reptivite with D3. How about getting each? Then lightly dust with the Repti-Calcium with D3 once weekly and also with the Reptivite with D3 once weekly.

Zoo Med's Reptivite contains vitamin A in the form of A acetate as well as vitamin D3 which is necessary for the metabolism of calcium.

Have you seen the most recently updated Leo Caresheet linked right below in my signature?

The brand you choose counts buckets, cuz the "similar" brands are somewhat different.
