I am really new at raising these animals and I have a question. I bought him a weeks supply of crickets to be prepared for the white out storm we were going to have so that way he wouldn't starve. As lady luck would have it or because of my plain ignorance the crickets died within the first two days I had them.
So I was sprawling to find him some food so I went to my local walmart (couldn't go to my pet store because it was in another town and the roads were too bad to travel that far.) and bought him some freeze dried mealworms. Which he snacked on to hold him over till I could get to the pet store.
So now, I buy the crickets and put 3-4 crickets in his cage. After a while I see a few of the crickets nibbling on the worms. Should I be worried about that? Because I know i cant let the crickets eat his poop because that will get him sick but is that the same case for them nibbling on dry mealworms?
TLR: I am a newbie and want to know if crickets nibbling on dry mealworms will be hazardous to my geckos health.
