Hi,

Please read under the picture in the link. I just want your leo to live a long healthy life.:)

What do you think about mentioning why you use plain Repti Calcium instead of D3 Repti Calcium? This would be quite helpful since many of us do not use UVB on leo enclosures.

Otherwise I think showing this picture with no explanation about that is somewhat misleading.

How is it misleading? I'm only showing what I use, not telling anyone to use it. We don't even know if they need d3 for goodness sake. I don't see how a leo who has only been provided plain calcium(no uvb) for 3 years has normal bone density. I will add that the feed contained d3. She mentioned using Fluker's and something else which I can't recall the name. It was another pet store cricket food. This is why you don't see me tossing d3 recommendation around. This is also the reason why I have been just sitting back, reading and praying for the best.;-)

There was a veterinary case and photo of a leo with white joints. I deleted due to privacy and forgot I linked this page. It is now deleted.

the directions say that it it designed to be used for every feeding, but people say too much vitamin D3 is bad for your gecko, and should only be used once or twice a week, I'm kinda confused?

Well the people who use seem to use it as their only supplement, and say their geckos are fine. Ill look for pure calcium and try the zoo mere. No I haven't looked or found a site that has the ingrediants. But I will check tomarrow

Here's a link I found for that Repashy's product: Amazon.com: Repashy Calcium Plus Vitamin and Calcium Supplement 5.3oz Jar: Pet Supplies

I realize the container's picture is different. Is this what you have?

This is one of my concerns, many leos who come on these forums are young and under 70 grams. Zoo Med repti calcium with d3 has the same directions as the Reptivite.

12 dusted crickets per 71 grams of body weight a week. Some leos can eat 10 crickets in one feeding. So calculate how much dust can be consumed in only 2 feedings (2 x's a week alone) to a leo who is under 71 grams.

no, mine is slightly different, has slightly different amounts and things. the ingrediants are crude protein min 12%, crude fat, min .75%, Crude fiber, max 3%, moisture, max 8%, ash, max 8%, Calcium (Ca) min 16%, Calcium (Ca) max 18%, vitamin A 400,000 IU/Kg, and Vitamin D-3 min 40,000 IU/Kg.
Hope this helped? and i appreciate your support
