Feeding breakthrough!! Small enigma female finally allows me to tweezer feed her!

I have a beautiful enigma tangerine female who never had eaten rignt because her enigma syndrome made her unable to aim. I've been trying to tweezer feed her for months with no success. Now my 30 gram baby has eaten 6 mealworms in one day-unheard of for her! I'm so proud of her! I just hope it wasn't a fluke lol but I had to tell of the triumph that happened tonight. Picture of the little girl:

Thank you for filing out the questionnaire, suggestions:

Change the coco fiber to a solid substrate, paper towels or tiles, coco fiber is loose and can be indgested by the Leo and cause impaction, also it is hard to spot clean and can harbour bacteria.
please add a moist hide to your geckos tank, they need it for hydration and to aid them shedding, even though you think they never use it they could use it at night

Your Leo needs vitamin A Acetate use reptivite and use only small amounts this is only a possibility of why your Leo is having trouble hunting.
You need a digital thermometer with a probe so you can measure temps accurately as need to know what the temp is under the warm hide right on the substrate.
A thermostat for your uth is recommended to decrease fire hazard and also help maintain temps and saves electricity.

So I'm lacking vitamin A acetate? None of my other geckos have any kind of problems but she just might be more sensitive if it is a problem. I've planned on changing to a solid subtstrate, I just havent had the time lol. I'll make some time soon. And I'll re-add the moist hide. I'll change the thermometer soon when I get more money, I've had a lot of big expenses lately and I cant afford much extra right now.

What is the ground temperature right on the substrate under the warm dry hide:* ???
What is the air temperature on the warm end about 4 inches up from the ground:*90 degrees
What is the air temperature on the cool end about 4 inches up from the ground:*80 degrees
What device(s) are used to maintain the temperature (Under Tank Heater, heat light, ceramic heat emitter, Flexwatt heat tape, hot rock, other): UTH and heat light

1. Your reported temps are too high. Could be because of an inaccurate analog thermometer. I understand you are low on cash right now. However, for less than $10 you can buy a Zoo Med digital thermometer with a probe. All leo husbandry is based upon the correct temperatures. Too warm or too cool temps will cause problems.

Recommended temperatures for all leos regardless of size
88-93 F (31-34 C) ground temp at warm end inside the warm dry hide
no greater than 85 F (29.5 C) air temp - 4 inches above ground on the warm end
no greater than 75 F (24.5 C) air temp - 4 inches above ground on the cool end

Leave the UTH on 24/7. Can turn off overhead heating at night unless the ambient room temperatures are particularly cool during the night.

2. Remove the plain calcium from the enclosure. For more information on calcium and vitamins including vitamin A, scroll past the Basic Guidelines section of the Leo Care Sheet to posts #22 and #48. There you will find good information.

3. Skip the Jumpstart. Not very nutritious at all.

4. Does your premium cricket premade diet contain any vitamin A acetate or vitamin D3? Both those vitamins are very important. Herptivite contains vitamin A in the form of beta carotene. There have been some studies that suggest chameleons cannot metabolize vitamin A in that form.
