She is very cute! You mentioned on another thread that the moist hide in the middle is inside that potter? Very interesting idea! What are those small pellets that are scattered around the enclosure? I wish I had a nice camera or good phone to take pictures with:biggrin:

I actually got that idea from VMS Herps. :) The "pellet" looking things are actually dog kibbles. If any crickets are left in the tank (like this morning, where my geckos weren't particularly hungry) the kibble keeps any hungry crickets from biting and harassing the geckos. It works really well and they last a long time unless they get wet. I just set the tank up like this, so I'm really excited to see how they will react to it tonight. I think they will really like it because they can get a way better gradient this way than any individual hides I could set up for them. The black thing is a seedling starter kit holder - I meant to get a plant holder (the ones that carry each individual pod of plants) but there weren't any the right size or shape.

I was always looking for some thing dark like that, but I ended up just getting this hide at an expo, which my leo loves: Medium Hide Box - Reptile Basics Inc. I bought both a large and medium since he is a large leo, but he prefers the smaller one:lol:. The little plant is very cute. What type of plant is it?

Ooh I like that. Very professional looking lol The plant is a succulent but I have no idea what type it is to be honest lol. I've had it for about a year now and it only recently started growing since being transferred to the gecko tank because it is now potted in moss since I was worried about the geckos eating any potting soil. So it's basically soaked all day and has grown more in one week than a year. I bet the UVB bulb is helping too lol The only issue I have is that the "leaves" or whatever they are fall off easily, like if I stick my hand in to clean, I'm usually taking one of its five leaves with me. I don't feel comfortable letting it sit, although it's good hydration for any stray crickets. I have no idea if they are poisonous if swallowed or not, so I pick them up just in case.

It's not a fancy cave, but it works just as well. Maybe even better! The first time I put it into his enclosure though he decided to move from his moist hide to that hide to begin his shed and I realized I needed to weigh it down because he was pushing around the hide from the inside. I'm glad I just happened to be in the room at that moment before he began to struggle! It freaked me out at first because suddenly the hide was moving from one end of the enclosure to the other lol. I hope it is not poisonous!

Oh wow! I didn't think about that. Mine is too heavy with the moist hide in the middle for anyone to move it, I think. I'm excited to see how this turns out tonight. How much was your hide? I'm just curious. Mine was about $5 from Home Depot.

It was also $5. I paid the same amount for the larger one since it was on sale.
