Not that it seems long to you guys since I have only been on this forum for a few days....but I finally just purchased tonight my Tangerine Giant Hypo Carrot Tail Baldy!!!!!! After doing a ton of research I finally settled on the one I wanted. I didn't go for the MOST unbelievably expensive, or the cheapest....and I focused mostly on the boldness of color, and the lack of spots on the tail.

I think I made the right choice. I would say the name of the breeder and what not but out of respect I guess I will just leave that alone for right now. :)

I am excited! Luckily, I have had my tortoise shipped to me so I'm not as nervous about the shipping part as I am about finally deciding to hit "checkout". I have been creeping over breeders stocks for weeks now.... only a male so far.....the females will come later...hopefully in a group purchase.

Since I am ON the morphs part of this forum I guess I should ask. I think I know the answer to this question already...but JUST to be sure.. THCTB....NEEDS to be bred to another THCTB...in order to produce SAID....color? I know the answer is yes....I guess I'm just curious if theres any other options out there. I have caught my eye on the blood leos lately as well....and I'm curious because I think it's just a brighter form of T....but maybe I'm wrong.....my goal...and my little plan hobby is to breed small but VERY select to better my own THCTBs....I guess I am just curious if anyone has any opinions or "what I do's" to focus on bettering the color. In my mind...I want a THCTB what resembles a mandarin orange crayon. Almost its entire body with no spots.

OKay I am rambling...just curious what you people got for me...:p I would post a pic of my leo...but the pictures aren't mine.....so I guess it will just be a surprise!!!!!

Congrats !!! I bet you can't wait to get that package delivered

There is nothing wrong with posting the name of the breeder you purchased your leo from.

Can't wait to see the pics.

Yes, find the nicest quality tangerine of the opposite gender to breed to the one you're getting and keep the nicest babies which you could breed to each other, back to the parent, or to another nice tangerine you'll get later.

Congrats!! That's always very exciting, can't wait to see! :) Great choice too.. I've worked a lot with shtctb's because I love them so much! You can even add some albino down the line if you so chose and make some killer sunglows ^.^

Yeah I almost backed away from these tang to get into sunglows because I love the look of them as well but I smacked my self on the hand and told myself "NO! stick with the one you picked and liked FIRST!" :p

Sure cutie. Glad you are happy with your new friend. Welcome to the world of Leo owners.

Thanks Misty! I have no idea how to flip the pictures around on here, they're right side up on my computer....but hopefully it isn't too annoying to look at him here ha ha! He's shy but so adorable! I can't wait to get a few more!
