baby madagascar day geckos not eating?

so i went to a reptile expo yesterday to get some feeder insects for my leos and chameleon, and then me and my dad noticed a very nice terrerium and we ended up getting it along with two baby madagascar day geckos
they are very young, only around 2 1/2 or 3 inches from snout to tail tip but im not exactly sure how old they are
we also dont know their sexes but once they come around that age (should be a few months, right?) we'll sort them out if they both happen to be male
but thats not the main problem
they didnt eat yesterday or today and im kinda worried about it, since they're so young
theres currently a small bowl type thing (which to them is more than enough since the bowl is almost as big as they are) and its filled with pangea fruit mix (about a teaspoon and a half mixed with water)
should i go out and buy some pinhead crickets for them or is it normal for them not to be eating for a few days? any help would be lovely !

are these your first geckos? it can take up to a few weeks to settle in. it wouldn't hurt to offer pinheads once or twice a week too.

can you post of picture of their setup? and are they in a nice quiet part of the house, with proper temperature, and no attempts to handle or otherwise pester them for the time being?

also, Phelsuma tend to be territorial; if you get 2 girls you're nowhere near guaranteed they'll be friends. and if you get a 1.1 pair, please be advised they will breed too young and there are serious potential health consequences.

please consider separating them asap, until they are mature adults, and then reassess.

they are my first day geckos, but ive been owning three leopard geckos for a while now

they are at the front of the house in the living room, and its very quiet there for the most part, the loudest it'll get is when the tv is on (but its rare that it is)
we can always move them to our basement if needed!

the tank is about 18 inches tall, about 15 inches long, and 12 inches deep, the guy we bought the geckos and set up from said that the tank should be large enough for the both of them to live in until they get older (right now its huge for them)

(i put the bottom of a syrofoam cup full of food for them at the bottom, so its easier to reach since the main food dish is all the way at the top right)
theres also a fogger that goes off once or twice a day and theres a running waterfall in the back (which then drains back into the fogger)

once they get 5 or so inches long, we were planning to move them to a larger tank (which would be kept in the basement) and we'll see if we can get two separate tanks ! (then we might use their old tank for a frog or two)

the guy also said they were third generation captive bred geckos so they would be very calm, and from what i've seen, they're not nearly as jumpy or skiddish as the other baby days they had at the show, so that seems like a good thing?

update kinda:
i picked up a few pinhead crickets as tossed them into their tank and they seem to be more interested in those than the pangea mix
should i try mashing up some banana with some calcium mixed in to see if they'll eat that? or should i just stick with pinheads for now?

I'm not a day gecko hatchling expert, but I'd imagine you'd want to introduce some sort of CGD pretty soon

yes, and please gutload your crickets well and thoroughly if that is most of what they're eating.

will do!
also another update
i dont know if they dont understand that there is food in the cup we put out for them or not but if i take some of the pangea fruit mix and either smear it on their nose or hold my finger in front of them, they'll lick it off. spoon feeding them also works, i guess they just dont understand the concept of bowls, haha!
but they've been eating much more now, thank you for all the help!
