Yes I am using the same schedule for Butters, and he seems to be perfectly healthy.
I checked Nyx's checkout bill and it says he's actually 87g. He's by no means chunky--except for a nice fat tail--and his limbs actually look kinda ripped. I was looking at the Giant/Super Giants on Ron Tremper's website and I saw some of his geckos with similar lengths (Nyx around 10 inches) and weights, and couldn't help notice that Nyx seemed to fit that category. Again, I don't know for sure since I got him at a local Petsmart, but even as a baby, he was a little larger than the rest of the bunch when I got him. So it's possible he might be a giant.
I am not positive on what the phosphorus levels are in the insects I feed. I know I've been getting my mealworms from Rainbow Mealworms, which have been very high quality compared to anything else I've gotten. It could be that the crickets might be the phosphorus culprit since I get those from the pet store. Again, I'm not positive.
Wow, I should switch to the Zoo Med D3 calcium, I didn't realize the Fluker's had so much.
Will the UVB light still overly interfere with the D3, even with the Zoo Med brand? I'm wondering how much he would really need, considering the possibility that he might be a giant and may get bigger as he reaches a year old. Would giants require more that normal leos?
I may turn up the fan in my room to see if that helps with the temperature. I keep forgetting that now I'm in the south for school, it's much hotter down here.
