I picked up this little guy Tuesday. I think he's a Sunglow, but I'm not sure. What you you guys think?

Between the tiny size of the gecko in the picture and the distraction of the screen mesh, I haven't a clue.

The mesh one was added by accident. The first one should show him better.

Here it is again: image.jpg

I think he may have some Bell in him because he has a little pink to his eyes.

Good luck, ScaryGirl, getting him healthy. He is SUPER cute. When he is ready, West Coast Dubias have great deals on SMALL (1/4 inch) dubia roaches that would be perfect for this little guy. Just hit hmarie or I up for discount codes if you want to order some.

Thanks for the support! He's such a big baby when it come to giving him medicine and rinsing his mouth. I live with my parents, so it's unlikely they'll let me bring roaches into the house.

COULD be a sunglow or a raptor, I don't see any black spotting.. it's hard to say in that condition because the colours are not showing true. Good luck bringing this guy back to health!

I think it might be a reverse stripe too :) the lighter stripe continues from the head pattern if you follow it up.

If its tail has a striped pattern, it's an APTOR (patternless tangerine albino stripe). If the eyes are red as opposed to greenish with a red vein, it's a RAPTOR (ruby eyed patternless tangerine albino stripe). If the tail has a banded pattern it's a sunglow (super hypo tangerine albino) and if the eyes are truly red and solid it's an eclipse sunglow.

Oof..I can't believe they sold you a gecko like that...terrible terrible breeder...he's really skinny. He could be a sunglow but by the malnutrition has his colors bleached out. I really hope you got him at a discount and if you didn't I'd send a very angry email to the breeder in question. Try giving him some chicken baby good with pedialyte and calcium to get him, eating and give him as much food as he wants. I'd even say throw some vitamin powder his way and hopefully the extra nutrition will allow his colors to come back. Good luck!
