Say hello to Cocoa!

I just picked this beautiful blizzard girl at the Raleigh Repticon over the weekend. This is my first time buying from a breeder, and my first blizzard, so I'm super excited!

I had a surprise when I brought her home; she laid eggs! I had no idea she was pregnant. I unfortunately had to dispose of the eggs since I can't support more geckos, but the excitement of finding random eggs inspired me to breed some day.

She's a little on the thin side, but I'm working on fattening her up and getting calcium and vitamins in her system; her appetite has been improving, and she's been drinking plenty of water. Right now she's all tuckered out; I'm sure laying eggs and moving into a new home is hard work!

This specific gecko I'm not sure, but the vendor that sold her to me said that the majority of their females on the sale table were 1-2 years with egg-laying experience. So potentially I could be expecting more eggs, I'll have to keep an eye on her.

This is the vendor's website: https://www.americanmadeexotics.com

Cocoa went through a shed last night. Had to soak her feet for stuck shed, but everything is taken care of. Skin looks a lot better and she's lightened up a little bit.

Also, she's eating like a total monster!

Love love love this color! I want a darker colored blizzard when I get my next one, how much did you pay for her if you don't mind me asking?
