well it not what i hoped for but its not the worst. blaze does have a parasite named pin worms. the vet pointed out that fluffnut is most likely infected too. i am sending them in both for detail. they said that they will give both medication for it. I will keep both separated for now. thank you and i will keep posted

So glad to know that the vet was able to diagnose that, before it got out of control! Thanks for updating us, and for being willing to keep us posted on your little ones.~

Thank you for following up quickly, funky gecko. :)

Carefully follow your vet's pinworm medication advice for both Blaze and Fluffnut.

Disinfect the cages and hides when you treat them with a 10% bleach solution and make sure it's dry and aired out before putting everything back together. Pins are a pain but easily eradicated if you treat them according to the vets instructions and clean, clean, clean!

Pin worms are definitely not a pleasant experience, but they're not the hardest thing to get rid of and when all is said and done, she should be good as new since you caught the problem in time. Just clean well and often and follow the vet's orders to a T and you should be good. Thanks for the updates.

well i'm going to the vet today with both geckos but i have one box. is it OK to put them both in or have them in different containers? is this that contagions? it sounds like fluffnut is already got what blaze has.

well i just came from the vet and he gave my geckos a antibiotic that they only need once! while the vet gave them it they both bit him:roll:! he said that if she stills shows signs of it to bring her in a couple weeks later. it was funny, i had fluffnut in my hood and blaze in my shirt while i waited for the vet:lol:! thank you for all your help!:D:biggrin::yahoo::crackup::cheer::banana::king::rofl:

Pinworms are highly contagious!!!

Always keep Fluff and Blaze separate till you hear that both are free of pinworms.

How was the vet visit?

How's Blaze's belly now from the fall?

she is just fine from the fall. i was surprised that nether blaze or fluffnut dropped their tail. but boy were they angry at me and the vet! well they all on a one time treatment and it should last but if it doesn't the vet said to come back in a few weeks. other than that he said that they are free of parasites. the stuff he gave them is for a dog but he was able to get it down a little. thanks

well i don't know if i made it clear but last time the vet said if she still shows signs of pin worms take her in two weeks later. the vet said i HAVE to take her in in two weeks then its all done. so now we wait. if any one has a tip all info will be nice.
