Just curious

Hey everybody, just wondering what some other peoples best guesses would be on what morph Arya could be. I have looked at the wiki and a few other places and it is hard to really tell. So far the guesses are Hypo (unsure because there are more than 10 spots), High Yellow, Aberrant, and possibly some Carrot Tail in there too. Anyhow, her are a few pictures of her.

Not really important but still curious.

You know I'm no good with Leo morphs. But if I had to guess..... I'd say a hypo of sorts but I can't help with the Carrot tail aspect. I don't know it well enough to make that call.
Either way, what a cutie! :)

Here's what I think:

not hypo because, as mentioned, there are too many spots
yes, carrot tail, barely
It's hard for me to tell from the tail if she was hatched with complete tail bands or broken tail bands (it kind of seems like the tail down at the end had broken bands). If the bands seem to be broken, then you could call her a stripe/jungle. Otherwise, as mentioned, she would be aberrant (body or tail bands broken, but not both).

Odd development in Aryas coloring. As you can tell by the above pictures, her back once had the bright bold spots like on her head. Over the past month or two, those spots have become faded though, just to be on the safe side I have double and triple checked all husbandry. That is all fine, so my questions now are, what could cause the spots to fade? Could this be just natural development? For reference I am adding another photo that shows off the change.

Edit: first is the wrong photo lol

I'm not seeing that much difference between the 2 sets of photos, but it isn't unusual for coloring to get somewhat less vibrant in many geckos as they mature.

Yeah, the photos don't really do a great job of showing the difference. I think what has me perplexed is more of how the head and most of the tail are still very bold. It's just the back really that has faded. As long as it isn't a sign of sickness, that is what really matters. Thanks once again for the valuable insight Aliza!

What you may be seeing is the progressive yellowing of the gecko over the spots that were lavender colored or gray as the solid black from hatching fades. I thought you were more concerned about the head spots.

Ok, I knew babies colors fade. I suppose I just figured she was done already. Could prove interesting to watch how this develops. If I can get better photos that show the difference I will definitely post them.

Trying my first upload from my new phone... Let's see if it works. Plus, this photo shows how faded her back spots have become.

She looks like she's on her way to becoming a super hypo (i.e. all spots disappearing).

Mostly they do stop changing at that age, however, some keep changing and it's not unusual for there to be either added spotting or some fading even with young adults.
