Leopard gecko feeding schedule

Hey all, just a question. I have a new juvenile leopard gecko and I've gotten into the habit of feeding him at 5.30 PM every day. However, my job is going to start requiring me to work evenings, from 3 to 11 PM. This means I can't be there to feed him on time.

My question is, do leos need to be fed at the same time every day, or would it be okay for me to feed him before work at around 1.30 or 2 PM?

Thanks in advance.

If you feed him at 1 or 2, he may not eat until he wakes up. I recommend you try this and see if it looks like he's eaten when you get home. There's always the option of feeding when you get home. I'm often feeding at midnight or later and it hasn't been a problem.

That's another thing, he's usually dozing constantly at night and during the day. He has a spot right next to his water dish where his heating element is and he falls asleep there a lot, no matter what time of day it is or what the lighting conditions are.
