There is a snow storm coming tomorrow and It's supposed to be up to 2 feet. We might loose power and if we do what should we do???

I always keep a bunch of hand warmers on hand to provide heat just in case something were to happen. I'd get yourself a few. Some heat is better than no heat.

I agree with the above post. Hot hands stay warm for 10 hours, you can wrap them in a cloth and keep them in the warm hide.

We are supposed to get a fair amount here in Massachusetts as well. I have two full boxes of the Hot Hands that Jess mentioned. Hoping neither of us need them, but definitely a good idea to grab as many as you can, just in case.

How many should I put in there at a time if I need too? Also, how many should I wrap up at a time, and should I put one under the moist hide? I'll either put them under the first layer of paper towels or wrap them in paper towels and put them in a hide.

How long do your power outages sometimes last?

I would start with 1 heat warmer wrapped in paper or a small piece of cloth. You could place it in one of your socks.

Place it right outside the warm dry hide. In case it gets too warm, you don't want to burn Flynn.

Don't get the warmers wet. Otherwise they won't work. They aren't meant to be used in or near the warm moist hide.

I told my parents about the uniheat packs we might buy them soon, but for sure before a next snow storm (if we have another). For now we will use the hot hands and replace them in the morning and evening if needed. If we bought them now the power would probably be back (if it goes out) by the time they get here.

We didn't have to use them yet, but hopefully I didn't jinx myself by saying that. The storm is over but something could happen.
