Keeping dubias alive

Right now I'm feeding my dubias collard greens and bearded dragon food. This seems to be a good gutload, but I also notice some of them have died. I usually will replace the collard greens every two days or so, but they do get dried out.

I have (ironically) had more success with keeping them alive when I used the Total Bites gel cubes, so I wonder if the dubias aren't getting enough moisture. I've stopped using these after other members told me that they were high in fat.

Any suggestions on how I can keep the dubias hydrated long enough to be my leo's dinner?

Thanks!

I keep my dubia in a 10 gallon viv with 5 vertical egg flats. I cover the egg flats with a paper towel that I spray every day or so. That, and fresh veggies, is how my dubia stay hydrated.

A couple months ago I began grinding all my ZM Adult beardie food in a Krups coffee grinder. That makes it easier for cricket and dubia to eat it.

My local Safeway's carries organic dandelion greens. I'm using those as well. Sometimes I feed them dandelion flowers, stems, and greens from my yard.
