Housing question.

My leopard gecko is about 4 months old and i have him in a 10 gal tank. I read that you can house a full grown gecko in a 10 gal and them be comfortable in it but he is out growing both his hides so i'll have to get bigger hides. But if i get bigger hides he will have almost no room for walking around, Do you think he will still be comfortable or should i upgrade to a 20 gal?

It's time to upgrade to a 20 long (minimum): 30 x 12 x 12 inches. Check out big box stores for frequent $1-per-gallon sales. That could make a good forever home for your leo if his size maxes out at about 75 grams. Consider an Exo Terra: 36 x 18 x 12 inches.

/\ That's a 20 gallon long, my leo Cha's home. She's 12 yo and about 65 grams give or take. She's 9 inches from snout to tail tip.

Thank you so much, I figured i would need to upgrade soon. Also, will a leo ever get big enough to eat the large crickets or will i always feed him small ones?

All my adults eat full-sized crickets and I find they can tolerate them as small as 20 grams or so.
