Frustrated with mealworm dish situation.

Hi, I am a small scale leopard gecko breeder and for the past 5 years I have not found a good mealworm dish. I have tried lees dishes which I hate because they are too lightweight and my geckos have trouble seeing them. I have also tried the plastic white anti escape dishes, they are way too light. I cant find any glazed terracotta dishes or candle holders. For the love of God I just need something that the mealworms wont escape from and something I can easily see if my geckos are eating. What do you breeders out there use?

For my leopard gecko, Shiloh, I cut a paper cup down to a small size and I then put the mealworms in with calcium, I've never seen any escape. I know this isn't much of a help since I only have 1 gecko.:/

I make a ceramic bowl in the same shape as the Lee bowl (I'm not saying they copied me, but I did produce mine before theirs was on the market). I'm in the Boston area and would be happy to either send you one or make one for you if you don't mind paying a small fee and shipping. Here's a picture

Try a kidney bowl, many of which are sold at Petco and Petsmart. They are of a heavy ceramic and look to be glazed to pevent escape. Easy to see the mealies, keeps them from escaping and is very heavy!
An example;

If I were a breeder that is what I would look into. I particularily liked some of the bowls used by Sasobekreptiles, you can find him on Youtube. Unfortunately it was mentioned the seller discontinued making the bowls. Those are the types I assume you mean, I looked for similar bowls but could not find them.

The sasobek dishes are exactly what I am talking about, but no one makes them like that. Ahh, I wish they were available.

If you haven't found any I found these at Home Depot!

They are heavy enough not to tip, glazed inside and vary in sizes and color. Although I would say a bit pricey for what they are. But I feel this may be a good option!
