They are wild animals, not domesticated. You'll be lucky to get them to tolerate any interaction, even though some people consider this tolerance to be "love being handled".

What you're asking is something that won't happen. They aren't willing to please, like dogs do, and even cats have a better chance of obeying you than a leopard gecko would.

Even a betta fish will learn tricks so it's probably possible but I think the amount of damage you'd do to the animal in stress wouldn't be worth it, assuming it didn't just get confused and refuse to eat altogether. He's not a tame gecko.

You could try offering a treat to him every-once in a while (like a hornworm or butterworm), talk to him while you do and he may associate your voice with food and come when gently called.

I have little boy name Cecil. I've had him since March. Every night since I got him , he's come out few hours in evening with me on sofa. Every night except when he shedding. He loves come out . Around 530 Ish he comes to his door and scratches at bottom or stands tall in front door looking at me. He knows that's going get him ride to sofa. When he does come door, I let him make choice of walking on my arm , or stay put. He chooses to walk onto my arm, and catch ride to sofa.
After he explores sofa for good while, he'll set on top my shoulder for 10 mints, watch me on my tablet. He has taken naps in my lap, under soft blank.
He allows me to rub his head, pushes up , rub harder.
It's taken me 11 months get him were he is now. Few hours every nigh. I think from when I got him , its good progress . The easiest way is get them young, unfortunately Cecil was almost year old. He was very stubborn.
I have little girl named cleo. I got her as baby, mush easier to teach and handle.
I move slow with them, every move i do with them is very gentle . I find it helps talk to them softly , let them get use to you.
