Hello thanks for having me. I just brought my second baby crestie home today. Does anyone have any tips on making this little red feel comfortable? It is curled up and looking more afraid than anything I've ever seen. I know there is some time to adjust and no to expect to see it eat etc... I feel bad!

Please share a picture of her setup. That makes it easier to give recommendations.

• Does her environment provide lots of cover -- places she can hide? In addition, cover three sides with something like paper towels so she feels more hidden.
• Are you misting once a day?
• Is her cage ~72-80*F? Is it possible to add a low wattage incandescent bulb overhead to increase the temperature some?

It turns out I’m so new I haven’t figured out how to upload pics. I have a shoebox type sterilite container with fake vines, papertowel floor with a little damp spag, etc... My other baby is thriving! The new one is beyond traumatized! Curled up with body language like fear I’ve never seen. I thought it was dead. Very convincing.

Have you set up her shoebox vertically? Can she climb? I hope she's alright physically.

Cresties love vertical setups, even when they are young.
