I finally broke down and got my Scooby a bigger tank.
He's been in a 10 gallon tank, since he was 8 months old, when I bought him back in January.
Here's his old tank:

He will be one year old on May 9th, and he's gotten substantially bigger since I bought him. Went to PetSmart and purchased an All Living Things 20 gallon long tank. I also bought a nice stand from Petco. Got myself a nice Galapagos tank cling for the background. And bought a bunch of new plants from PetSmart (most of them are from the aquarium section). I had fun decorating. I wanted him to feel like he was "in the wild", LOL.
Anyway, I was worried that Scooby was gonna stress out about moving into a new tank, since he just shed two days ago, but he ate a bunch of bugs lastnight, so he's back to normal, LOL. So today was the big move for him. I had it all set up and ready to switch rather quickly. I grabbed a couple last minute pieces from his old tank that I was still using, which I think was comforting for him - to "smell" things in his new tank that were familiar. It's funny, I rarely if ever pick him up, and was kinda worried he was going to be difficult, but he could not have been any calmer. He was a good boy, and let me scoop him up and sit him in his new tank. I was worried he was gonna immediately disappear into a hide, but no, he walked around the new tank for hours. Checking out every nook and cranny, going in and out of hides, climbing on top of them, and walking through his huge water dish (he loves water). I am so happy he's taking to his new habitat. Hopefully, he'll eat tonight without a problem.
