Good thermostats

I am looking for good thermostats that you can buy directly from a PET store. I heard the Zilla thermostat can get to hot and too cold so that's not a good one. Jumpstart is a good one but are there any decent thermostats in pet stores?

The Zilla looks just like the Alife and ESU thermostats that I've been using for 15 years with no problems.

Thanks, I heard that Zilla is like 10 degrees off sometimes.

If you use a digital thermometer or temp gun then you can check the temperatures and adjust the thermostat until you get it right.

I've never used that one. Make sure both the thermostat power cord and the probe wire are about 12 inches long.

I like my leo's Hydrofarm Jump Start thermostat. It also has a digital readout. It's easy to set.

Thanks for asking. Nope!

If Zoo Med reptitemp digital thermostat has short power cord and a short probe cord, it means that the cord will NOT reach your wall plug or outlet strip and that the probe cord will not be long enough to place the probe underneath the warm dry hide.

That product online seems to have short cords. Maybe some of the cords were hidden.

Actually, it looks small on the outside of the box for some reason, but the power cord is pretty long and there are good reviews.
