Hi everyone,
I just got a new little guy, he's pretty juvenile I know. I also know it's common for leos to not eat within the first days or even weeks of a new place, but considering that he's so young I know he also NEEDS to eat. I've had him for 5 days and no interest in anything - meal worms, small crickets, I know wax worms are HIGHLY ill advised but I even put one in his dish just to see if he'd eat and he hasn't touched any of them. He sees the crickets but does not go for them.
Should I just let him do this thing, and he'll eat when he absolutely needs to? I know feeding with forceps is common but he's so skittish still that I'm afraid that might be an utter failure. He had access to mealworms in a dish prior to my having him, but I don't know what his eating habits were - again, he's very young (probably too young I'm sure).
Thanks for any input.
