Baby leopard gecko growth rate

I recently purchased a baby RAPTOR who is about 1-2 months old, and I was wondering what the average growth rate for them is. I have experience with raising a ~4 month old and he was significantly larger then compared to how Pearl (my new baby) is now.

She came home yesterday and already has quite the appetite, and she’s extremely calm- she’s already crawled into my hand (I had to fix her carpet and she apparently thought my hand looked comfy). It’s really cute- she’ll wake up, eat 2-5 mealies and then go to sleep. Two hours later, she repeats the process. She’s pooped once and it was super small, but she’s super small too so I’m not super bothered by it, though when she pooped today it seemed a tad watery- but I’m pretty sure she ate her first waxworm yesterday (she did the whole sniff and lick it thing they do when encountering a new food item) and I gave her a second one today so that could just mean that her body is confused about the new food. Either way, she went from 7.5 grams to 9 grams today so I’m not tremendously worried.

Anyways, I’m curious as to what is the usual growth curve for leos is so I can make sure she’s progressing properly.

Any tips on keeping babies are welcome too!

Congrats on your new gecko. If she's eating consistently, there's nothing to worry about and she'll grow at whatever rate she's going to grow. Ditch the waxworms. I've had geckos weigh as much as 50 grams at 3 months (that was really unusual) and as little as 7 grams at 3 months, so each has its own curve.

Leos are typically full grown at about 1 year. There can be stipulations to that depending on how often they are fed and how much they will actually eat. Some people can get their leos full grown at 9-10 months, but it usually takes 12-14 months.

Until they are about 18 months old most leopard geckos increase in weight and in length.

Leos grow most quickly during the first 12 months of their lives.

Thanks for the help guys! The little one has a really good appetite, usually eating anywhere from 5-10 mealworms a day and pooping regularly. I’m pretty sure she shed either today or yesterday as she had a grayish poop like the ones that my adults have post shed.

I offered her a baby silkworm the other day- super tiny and definitely her size. She took it in her mouth and recoiled before spitting it out and shaking her head haha. I don’t think she liked it. I plan on picking up some pinhead crickets tomorrow to feed her. She’s gained two grams since I bought her and she’s quite the explorer. Though she’s not exactly smart... I heard her scream the other night and I turn my light on and she’s just staring at her reflection...

Pinheads are way too small for leopard geckos. They may not even see them! I feed pinheads to my 1 1/2" long Spherodactylus. Baby leopard geckos will be fine with 1/4" to 1/2" crickets.

Ah. Okay then. I’ll go buy some small ones tomorrow. The little one did eat like. 15 extra small crickets and 4 mealworms today so I’m practically out already. She chased them down quite well though- wagging her tail each time so she’ll be fun to watch eat. Especially since the adults are continuing to fast.
