How long should UVB be on per day?

I just got a couple of Arcadia shade dweller pro kit for my girls (separate tanks). I’ve never used UV with them. How long, and when should I have the lights on?

I have mine turn on when the sun rises where I live, and turn off when the sun sets.

Unless the room they're in is dark, you don't really need lights, but if you want to use them that looks fine.
