Sperm plugs? Or something else?

Hey guys we have several leopard geckos and typically try to buy females because theyre easier to care for and i dont want to have to put my leos through birthing and egg laying, we got one boy, named him groot, since he got his boy bits and we confirmed he was boy hes always had BIG bits, but lately they are really swolleen, so we started to do soaks, and it helped shrink them and he had a big poop after the first soak, we used warm sugar water soaks, it looks like he bit one side of his sac be ause theres a scab sore there now? And now its scabbing up, his vent has looked inflamed and “dirty” also hes lately been having really loose poops, im wondering if he has sperm plugs? The thing is i never really noticed sperm plugs or anything besides poop in his cage, hes about 2.5 years old, weve had him since a bany, i cant easily get him to an exotics vet because its pretty far away, so i have to try and handle this until i can get to one that will see him, hes still active and eats and drinks and seems very robust and healthy its just his boy area thats worrying me, his hempenis isnt exposed and he has what looks like a scab on one side of his sac

To attach a video to this post click the ladder icon to the right of the image icon.

Click: vBulletin FAQ
  • To insert a video find 3 lines of choices at the top where you make a post. On the second line, 15 icons in from the left, you'll see the video icon. It looks like a ladder. Click this video icon & paste your video URL right there. Your video and arrow like you may have noticed here will be displayed, not just a link.
  • To insert a photo use the "image" icon next to the "ladder" icon.
    • First upload your images or video to a free Imgur or YouTube account.
    • Then use that jpeg or URL to upload your image or video onto Geckos Unlimited.
    • Click: Go Advanced under the reply box
    • Then click: Manage Attachments
    • Click "insert image url" OR "insert video url"
    • Then copy & paste
Imgur and YouTube offer free online sites for sharing photos and videos.

Here's another way to post a picture.
  1. At the foot of your post click the Edit Post button.
  2. Then click Go Advanced button.
  3. Scroll all the way down to Management Attachments. Click.
  4. Click: Add Files. Select a photo from your files and upload it.
  5. Drag that photo into the box beneath.
  6. ***Click both buttons on the right: "Insert Inline" and then click "Done".
