Hello. We recently purchased a leo near xmas time. I am estimating he is about 4 months old now. He has always seemed healthy. Eating is normal and consists of crickets, dubias and mealworms. He poops normally. He is friendly when taken out and played with. He is active. I have never seen any signs of fatigue or sickness in him. His habitat is clay tiles, moss, driftwood, and 3 hides. Temps are checked with a temperature gun and digital sensors and all seems normal and fine.
A few weeks ago, he developed a large bubble/bump on his tail. At first, I thought it was a calcium buildup, so I cut back his calcium from 3x week to 1x week. However, this didn't really help. The bubble/bump hasn't grown or gotten smaller. I am afraid to touch it directly, but I honestly don't think it is bothering him.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before?
