So, I got Donovan about 2.5 weeks ago. He's eating like a trooper, but we are still working on getting to know one another (in other words, he's not afraid of my hand, sniffs and licks it when I put it in his enclosure, and has crawled over it, but isn't quite ready for me to hold him yet). He's already had one fully successful shed. Overall, he seems healthy and normal (although, either he's younger than I was told or he's on the thin side, but with the way he's eating, that shouldn't be an issue for long).
I have surgery coming up in a bit over 2 weeks and I won't be able to drive for several weeks.
How long after you get your Leopard Geckos do you take them in for a wellness check with a vet?
I would prefer to give him more time to get accustomed to me before I pop him in a travel carrier and take him to a vet.
