Wheres the color?

Bought my first Lepord Gecko last week. He had such pretty colors. This week his colors are gone and he is all dark spots and kinda light. Is he trying or going to shed? This is my first one.

Sounds like he's about to shed. Does he have a humid hide?

Yes he does have a humid hide that is made up of moist paper towels in a clear tupperware container with a door. Also i went to the new post section to post but i couldn't see where to do it. Sorry i am not only new to Geckos but new to posting. Any advice on what to do when i go to new post? Thanks

Click on that. You will see a button on the upper left that says: New Thread. Click that and then post away. Title your thread Leopard Gecko (then questions or whatever). It is a good idea if you post all your questions re one leo in one thread.

The colors/patterns you see on young leos are not representative of what they will look like when they are older.

I finally was able to see where to post with your help.. Thank you , i am sure i will have many a questions that i need help with. Again thank you
