Can you tell me more about Pasteur's day gecko?

Hi there. I'm trying to learn more about Phelsuma Pasteuri as a potential first gecko. One of my questions is do they do well in trios or couples only? How do they differ from other day geckos with personality or care.

I'm also interested in the same info for Roberts merten's day gecko. My ideal day gecko is small, the smaller the better, with the female also having nice coloration, extra points if it can be kept in trios. Also any other small day day gecko species you think I should know about excluding neons as I'm already aware of them.

Thanks for any advice

Gecko Ranch's Julie Bergman, a longtime eastern USA Phelsuma breeder, currently keeps both Phelsuma pasteuri & Phelsuma robertmertensi. Julie is a great resource!

How about Lygodactylus kimhowelli? That's a smallish & very attractive, gecko!

However, this care guide recommends Lygodactylus kimhowelli "only to the experienced or well-informed novice with a good collection of micro feeders available." :)

That one's pretty cute too but I love the ones with more green the most. Green and turquoise are my favorite colors. After doing some more research it looks like Robert Merten's gecko likes it a little more humid than Pasteur's according to one resource. Which is good to know
