40B Leopard Gecko Setup

I just completed the scape of the 40 gallon breeder leopard gecko tank! I went with a washed play sand and organic top soil blend for the substrate. There’s a UTH on the left side, so I have a large, thin piece of slate on the glass there underneath the rock cave. There isn’t any loose substrate under there, just the slate bottom. There’s also a humid hide in the right corner under the cork bark. The screen top should arrive tomorrow and then the CHE can get set up to ensure all my temps are right. Then it will be finally time to find the right leopard gecko! Would love any feedback on this setup please.

It looks like a fun place for a leopard gecko! Here are 2 suggestions:
--when you get the CHE, keep track of the ambient temperature. I think sometimes a CHE makes the ambient temp too hot and dries out the air. Especially in the summer, you may be fine with just the UTH which is what my geckos have.
--figure out where your gecko likes to poop and put a small tile or slate there so it's easier to clean and you're not always digging poop out of the sand.
