If one is eating well, looks fat in the tummy but skinny tail could be egg binding or impacted, is it pooping??

Can you upload small-sized pictures right to this thread? I saw one of your pics in the gallery...it is huge...does not show the entire leopard gecko. :(

Search for a thread here how to do it.

Fluker Farms makes clamp-lamps which come in three sizes. You might need the largest one that is 10" across depending upon the size of your extra tank. Doctors Foster and Smith is a good online resource.

It is important to isolate the one who is ailing, just in case the potential problem is contagious. There could be competition for food if they are different sizes.

What temperature range does the current tank have?

right now it 82.9

If that is the day temperature, it is way too cool for proper digestion. Leos need belly heat in order to properly digest their food. Day temps should range from 92-95 F. Night temperatures can be as low as 68 F with the lights/heat switched off.

How are you heating the tank?

Just curious: Have you had the chance to read "Leopard Geckos in a Nutshell Recommendations" which I linked early on on this very thread?

The wattage of the bulbs only tells part of the story :(. You need to monitor the temperatures with an accurate digital thermometer (Radio Shack makes some). The temperature needs to be measured right at floor level where the leo lives.

Bright lights like Sunglows are too bright for leos. My recommendations suggest Ceramic Heat Emitters and/or red bulbs of the appropriate wattage :). My Slimline fixtures take fluorescent strip lights...again way too bright for a leo. These bright lights will cause extra stress.

Please take some time to read my recommendations. That is only fair to all of us.
